Topic: Theoretical and practical aspects of the National Cluster for the production and processing of oil and gas, petrochemicals, related engineering and services for the oil and gas industry
Purpose: to familiarize the target audience with the purpose of the National Cluster, the advantages of cluster development of the region's industry and potential results
Target group: managing committees of Mangystau, West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions, potential cluster participants, entrepreneurs, industrial associations, investors
Seminar programme:
Modern trends in cluster development of the economy. World experience.
Goals, objectives and priorities of the National Cluster. The principles of determining the basic members of the cluster, mutually complementing each other. Identification of possible value chains, taking into account the regional specialization of clusters, together with the workshop participants.
Creation of regional clusters. Required resources and sources of funding. Objectives and functions of the Sub-cluster Steering Committees.
Discussion of drafts Roadmaps for sub-clusters of the National cluster, taking into account the regional specialization of sub-clusters (Atyrau, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan regions).
Results:
Identification of potential cluster members
Identification of possible value chains, taking into account the regional specialization of clusters, together with potential participants
