Study of the economic opportunities of rural women to be included in the economic agenda of the Government as a separate category of socially vulnerable population

The purpose of the project: Drawing up a social portrait of rural women in Kazakhstan and preparing recommendations for the formation of state policy to improve their situation.

Long-term result: Increased awareness of state bodies and the public about the situation of rural women as a vulnerable group of the population, and the specific challenges they face. In addition, as a result of the implementation of the project, it is likely that social protection and economic opportunities for rural women in Kazakhstan will be consolidated as one of the areas of social policy.

Drawing up a social portrait of rural women:

- Development of research methodology

- Discussion of methodology

- Conducting a survey of target groups and processing the results

- Discussion of survey results with stakeholders

Development of recommendations for expanding the economic opportunities of rural women in Kazakhstan:

- Preparation of a report on the results of the study

- Presentation of the final report to the public and its discussion with experts

- Preparation of a report on the topic and its distribution to beneficiaries

- Coverage of the topic in the media
