The discovery and systematic development of hydrocarbon deposits in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea stimulated the development of industry in the west of Kazakhstan, in particular, in two of its regions - Mangistau and Atyrau regions, located on the coast of the Caspian Sea.
At the same time, the accelerated development of the oil industry at the KSCS and the increase in the volume of oil and oil products transported through the Caspian Sea contribute to an increase in the risk of accidental oil spills at sea. This work was devoted to the development of a system for preventing, providing resources and eliminating oil spills in the Kazakhstani sector of the Caspian Sea (KSCS).
