In its current review, AERC provides an inflation forecast until January 2025. At the same time, the inflation estimate for November and the inflation forecast for December of this year were revised. Let us recall that AERC had long predicted an acceleration of monthly inflation since October. However, the actual values of October inflation turned out to be even higher than the predicted growth in the general price level. Thus, in October, monthly inflation amounted to 0.9% at once, with a forecast of 0.6%. For comparison, in September, monthly inflation was at the level of 0.4%. Due to the sharp monthly growth in prices, in October, inflation in annual terms also increased to 8.5%, interrupting the long-term decline observed earlier.
