AERC continues to monitor price dynamics in the new housing market using data from Krisha.kz.
According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR RK, the average price per square meter of new housing in Kazakhstan in August 2025 amounted to KZT 538,534, representing an 11.3% increase compared to August 2024.
The data from the Krisha.kz show that as of August 31, 2025 the average price per square meter of new housing stood at KZT 504 099 nationwide, reflecting a 14.2% (YoY) increase.
Overall, August 2025 marked a slowdown in the growth rate of the national average price per square meter of housing, as declines were recorded not only in the major cities but also in several regions, including Aktau, Karaganda, Turkestan, and others.
