AERC decided to analyze the housing prices presented on the largest real estate sales platform in Kazakhstan – Krisha.kz. Web scraping of data from the website of Krisha.kz was carried out as of October 30, 2023, and the object of the study was advertising of new apartment houses on the website. For the analysis, advertisements (ads) of new apartment houses with a stated completion date in the 1st quarter of 2023 and later (until 2026) were selected.
According to the collected data from the site Krisha.kz, as of October 30, 2023, a total of 647 ads for new houses were placed in Kazakhstan, of which the majority – 53.3% – are in Astana and Almaty: 184 and 161 newly built complexes, respectively.
AERC, based on the specified data, conducted an analysis of the cost of housing offered in new apartment houses in the context of both cities of Kazakhstan and housing classes.
