Annual and monthly inflation in Kazakhstan continued to decline in May, falling even below AERC estimates. However, the authors of the analysis point out that pro-inflationary pressure remains from the weakening tenge exchange rate, growing inflation in Russia and from the reversal of food inflation in the world.
