In the current report AERC has improved its estimate of Kazakhstan’s economic growth for 2023. AERC estimates real GDP growth in 2023 using the aggregate demand model at 4.6% (previously 4.4%), and according to the aggregate supply model, the estimate has also improved - from 4.3% to 4.6%. For 2024, AERC forecasts Kazakhstan’s economic growth for 2024 according to the aggregate demand model at 4.2%, and according to the aggregate supply model at 4.3%.
