AERC continues to monitor the dynamics of prices for new housing in Kazakhstan. In November, according to the BNS ASPR RK, the cost of a square meter of new housing increased by 0.4% over the month and by 3.4% compared to November 2023, amounting to 499,257 tenge.
In turn, according to the advertisements of the Krisha.kz website on November 30, the average price per square meter of new housing in the country amounted to 451,796 tenge, an increase of 0.66% compared to the previous month. In the regional context, price growth was recorded in advertisements for new buildings in Astana and Almaty. Thus, in the largest cities of the country in November, the trend of moderate growth in prices for primary real estate continued.
It should be noted that all countries are now paying close attention to the real estate market. By the way, the IMF has released a separate review of the real estate market in 40 countries over the past 50 years. The IMF notes that housing affordability has declined globally over the past 10 years.
