AERC continues to monitor price dynamics in the new housing market using data from Krisha.kz.
According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR RK, the average price per square meter of new housing in Kazakhstan in May 2026 amounted to KZT 614,019, representing an 0.3% decline compared to April 2026.
The data from the Krisha.kz show that as of May 31, 2026 the average price per square meter of new housing stood at KZT 581,841 nationwide, reflecting a 0.9% (MoM) decrease.

According to AERC analysis, the primary housing market may transition to a more moderate trend in the near future after a period of active growth. Despite continued high annual price growth, May data indicates a weakening of monthly dynamics and a decline in market activity.
